Accounts Apprentice

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as an AAT Apprentice, combining hands-on work experience with formal study. You need a passion for learning and ideally have an agricultural background or relevant experience.

Hours:

Four days a week in the office - 8.45am - 5pm, with a 1 hour lunchbreak
Paid study day each week to attend Accountancy Learning, Taunton.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting in the preparation of accounts and tax returns
Helping with VAT returns and payroll processing
Supporting client queries and administrative tasks
Gaining exposure to cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
Learning from experienced professionals in a supportive, friendly environment.

What We Are Looking For:

Enthusiasm for starting a career in accountancy
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
Good communication and organisational skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English), and ideally A-levels or equivalent
Willingness to study towards the AAT qualification at Accountancy Learning (day release).
