Accounts Senior – Agricultural Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Senior to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a good technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance, with at least three years of experience in the industry.

Salary: £65,000 per annum + bonus and benefits

  • Mitchells is one of the UK's leading agricultural accountancy firms, supporting farming families and rural businesses across England and Wales. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join our team and work closely with a developing Partner, with genuine opportunities for progression into a senior leadership role.

  • This varied position offers exposure to accounts, tax, audit, succession planning, probate and advisory work, primarily for agricultural clients. We are seeking someone with strong practice experience, excellent technical knowledge and a proactive approach to client service.

  • At Mitchells, agriculture isn't just a sector we advise on, it's a way of life. Many of our team come from farming backgrounds and understand the challenges facing rural businesses first hand.

  • Salary: £65,000 depending on experience

  • Benefits: Performance-related bonus scheme, employer pension contributions, 32 days holiday rising to 34 days, health insurance scheme, free parking, referral bonus scheme and regular social events.

  • Taunton, with reliable commute or relocation required.
